Flying can be very boring and very uncomfortable; I went on a hunt to find the most lovely ways to fly!
Etihad Airways! Etihad has "flying nannies;" these are flight attendants who are prepared to help keep little ones comfy and happy on the flight! Etihad nannies are also available in their airport lounges. Most awesomely, Etihad has the "Residence!" The Residence is comprised of a tiny living room, bedroom, and bathroom with a shower all to yourself for the flight! You could fly overnight, not miss a step, and be perfectly comfy!
Emirates Airlines! Emirates has an awesome bar on the plane! Being able to stand up, mill around the bar, and chit chat with passengers would make a long flight bearable! They even have in-flight video games to keep you entertained!
Istanbul Ataturk Airport! If you wind up having to kill some time at the airport, hopefully a beautiful lounge like the one at the Istanbul Airport is available with a restaurant, bar, spa, gym, relaxation rooms, and play rooms. This one even has a pool table!
Concierge services are often available through the airport, airline, or a private company to help you handle any special airport logistics.

AirFrance! Their planes are so pretty and cozy! I would love to get snuggled in and set off on a long adventure! I love that it has curtains to complete the serene cocoon effect! Ooh La La!
Virgin Atlantic! Any assistance you might need during your flight, or at the airport, is not only available, but easy to learn about via the website! Kids, health concerns, special diets, assistance animals, or even learning disabilities; Richard has thought of everything! There is also fantastic wellness-while-flying advice for everyone; inflight exercises, inflight health tips, as well as pre and post flight tips to help you look and feel your best after a long flight! He even offers inflight help for nervous flyers, as well as a pre-flight course to ease your fear of flying! Thanks Richard! You can even send a "hello" via seat screen to a fellow passenger who might also be looking to chat!
Changi Airport, Singapore! For your layover they have...a swimming pool, a movie theater, bus tour of Singapore, video games, beautiful gardens - tropical butterfly garden, orchid garden, cactus garden, sunflower garden, water lily garden, nap rooms, a gym, a spa, and the tallest indoor slide in the world; it's adult size!!! Make time to hang out!
San Francisco Airport! This airport has yoga rooms to stretch out in during a layover, and the Wag Brigade! The Wag Brigade is a group of therapy dogs that work at the airport; their job is to snuggle and delight waiting passengers! The world needs more Wag Brigades! Zippy is pictured below; her fellow therapists include dogs of assorted sizes and a beautiful pig named, Lilou!
